It's almost time to nominate your Rising Star.
Nominations for the Rising Star Award 2017 will open on Wednesday 26 October.
The award, now in its fifth year, is an opportunity to nominate a colleague or peer who has made a real difference to the sustainability agenda and shine a light on their achievements.
We are pleased to announce our judging panel for 2017.
- Claire Battles, Balfour Beatty
- Su Butcher, Just Practising
- Lindsey Malcolm, XCO2
- Andrew Mellor, PRP
- Lisa Pasquale, Six Cylinder (2016 winner)
- Joseph Williams, UK-GBC
Nominations will close at midday on Friday 16 December. The judges will use your nomination to select a long-list, so don’t be afraid to use specific examples or tell stories, this helps us to understand why you think they really deserve recognition.
You can read judge Su Butcher's tips for nominating in her blog post, here.
Nominees who make this year’s long-list will be asked to provide a short written showcase submission to the judges, with a shortlist being contacted in late January for additional evidence (which will include a short video). The winner will be announced at a ceremony during Ecobuild, March 2017.
