“As expected, today’s Budget speech provides slim pickings for green business. The real test for this Government’s low carbon credentials will be in the level of ambition shown in the upcoming Clean Growth Plan.
“It is encouraging to hear the Chancellor talk of ‘listening to the voice of business’. The message we hear loud and clear is that there is a strong business case for better quality, sustainable buildings. This is more important now than ever as the UK sets out its position on the world stage ahead of Brexit and works towards meeting the Paris Agreement’s emissions reduction obligations.”
