UK-GBC sounds ECO alarm
Date released:
24 Feb 2012
The transition from CERT to ECO is again being highlighted as a major area of concern.
A joint letter - signed by UK-GBC - has been submitted to Ed Davey, Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change raising concerns about the lack of transition arrangements between CERT and ECO.
The letter highlights that DECC's own Impact Assessment estimates that there will be a drop of 93% in the loft insulation market, and 66% in the cavity wall insulation market as ECO comes online later in 2012.
Other signatories include Which? and Friends of the Earth. UK-GBC members can download the letter here.
