Delivering Building Performance report launch presentation

Operational building performance affects running costs, staff productivity, occupier well being and asset value. However it is rare for it to be predictable before space is occupied, even though we know it can be done. Does it matter if building performance is an occupier lottery? Why don't we design for actual performance, what needs to happen in the supply chain process to enable us to do so - and to make doing so the norm? And who ought to care in the first place?

These are some of the questions the UK-GBC's Delivering Building Performance Task Group set out to answer, with the help of professionals from across the built environment industry and a synthesis of research. At the launch event we shared the findings and recommendations from the work, and the resources created to help the UK progress towards better operational building performance.
