The journey towards a sustainable built environment will be underpinned by inspirational leadership, key skills and a sharp understanding of the challenges faced by businesses.

Leaders' Network

UK-GBC's Leaders' Network brings together senior leaders from across industry to create a unique dialogue around sustainability and business. Leaders clearly have a vital role to play in driving transformational change, by influencing responsible business practice, government direction and sustainable performance.

Leading on from the success of the Sustainability Leadership in the Built Environment Programme, UK-GBC has developed a powerful network of senior business leaders, dedicated to transforming sustainability across the sector. The network enables leaders to continue collaborating beyond the programme, thereby creating a shared sense of endeavour, momentum and learning.

There is much to do across industry and the challenge is how we harness the good and the great to pull together with one plan, one message and a collaborative approach to driving the message forward
Mark Castle, Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Mace

Many of the members of the network have contributed to the "A Defining Decade - Radically transforming the built environment by 2025" essays and the Leadership for Green Growth booklet - a collection of essays focusing on leadership in the built environment.
