Green Building Manifesto Launch
A week is a long time in politics, but time is running out to tackle climate change. With the general election just around the corner, what are the policies that will put us on a fast track to a sustainable built environment?
There is a backdrop of continuing economic uncertainty, but is it up to government to create the conditions in which green building can flourish? Or should industry be doing more than it currently is?
Join us for this key event in which the UK Green Building Council will set out its ‘Green Building Manifesto’: an action plan to tackle climate change, cut energy use and give the industry and the economy a shot in the arm.
Speakers include:
- Paul King, Chief Executive, UK-GBC
- Paul Morrell, Chief Construction Advisor
- Greg Clark MP, Conservative Shadow Secretary of State for Energy & Climate Change
The event takes place at 08:00 in the Arena at Ecobuild, Earls Court on Wednesday 3rd March. Breakfast refreshment will be available from 08:00 - 08:30. The event will begin at 08:30.
Please register to attend this event and we will organise your free pass to Ecobuild which will be avaliable for you to collect at the door.
