FSC is an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world's forests. It was founded in 1993 in response to public concern about deforestation and demand for a trustworthy wood-labelling scheme. Currently there are over 1 million hectares of forests worldwide certified to FSC's standards. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.

The Igloo Regeneration Fund was established in 2002 as the UK\'s first urban regeneration fund. The United Nations recently referred to Igloo as \"The first sustainable property fund in the World\".
