Online workshop hosted by Force of Nature addressing the intersection of youth, climate action and the implications for the built environment sector.

70% of young people we’ve spoken to feel hopeless in the face of the climate crisis; only 26% of us know how to meaningfully contribute to solving the climate crisis.

Offering insights from their network of young people from over 50 countries, Force of Nature will help you to understand what this kind of stark statistic means for you and your business in terms of the products you deliver, the people you employ, and the direction your business is heading.

In the face of the climate crisis, young people know that they will have to disrupt the status quo to build a world in which they can have a safe and healthy future. This disruption could be a positive force for business, and their insights might just help your organisation to plan for a future that is nothing like our current ‘business as usual’.

This workshop is part of UKGBC’s broader focus on Sustainability Leadership – leadership that looks long-term, beyond quarterly returns, and at the sustainability of the ecosystem in which each business operates, rather than just the survival of the business itself – and is designed to help you on your leadership journey, wherever you might be.  We believe that all of us can lead, from whichever position we currently find ourselves, just as Clover Hogan believed when she founded Force of Nature at the age of 19.
