Join us for this unique opportunity to visit the first education Passivhaus Plus project in the UK. This is a new build school with high sustainability credentials and features which will be explored through a guided site tour, presentation and discussion. The architects and the contractors themselves will take us through the design and delivery process. As the project is in construction phase, you will be able to see many of the design features and low carbon technologies, making this learning experience even more live and interesting!

Project Highlights

This is a new build school with high sustainability credentials and features, such as:

  • Passivhaus Plus (first education project in the UK)
  • Net carbon zero in operation
  • Low embodied carbon design
  • Passive and bioclimatic design
  • Green roof
  • PV panels
  • Ground source heat pump

The project is onsite and in progress, giving you the perfect opportunity to see insulation and many sustainable features being installed.

Attendees will be given site equipment, helmets, jackets and boots, however if you own site boots you are welcome to bring them on the day.
