We have 9 years to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. To accelerate this decade of action, B Lab and the United Nations Global Compact have developed the  SDG Action Manager – a web-based impact management solution to enable businesses to take more effective action on the SDGs through to 2030.

Overview

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identify where we must be in 2030 to create the sustainable world we seek, and also provide a unique opportunity for all sectors of the economy to rally around a common global agenda to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure a shared and durable prosperity for all.

This 1-hour workshop will give an overview of the SDG Action Manager, a web-based impact management solution, why it has been developed, how organisations can use it to efficiently track their action on the SDGs, and demonstrate their progress towards transforming their business to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.

Hearing from BCorp International Program Manager Neila Benamara, and membership organisations who have been using the SDG Action Manager in their own businesses, we will explore:

  • How the SDG Action Manager can simplify and coordinate the sustainability tracking process.
  • How it can focus and accelerate action.
  • What value can it bring to your organisation.

There will be a practical section to help understand how to use the tool and where it can add value to your organisation.
