In April, as part of our Advancing Net Zero programme, UKGBC will be launching a framework definition for net zero carbon buildings for the UK market. The framework has been developed by an industry task group of over 40 businesses and non-profit organisations from across the built environment, with the aim of building consensus. The primary focus is on achieving net zero for operational emissions (in-use energy consumption) but also taking account of whole life carbon assessments to avoid unintended consequences.

This event in Bristol will introduce the outputs from the task group and encourage response and discussion from the industry on the definition, steps moving forward and how the outputs relate to the South West.
