On Tuesday 5 June, UKGBC will be jointly hosting with BEIS a workshop on business energy efficiency.

The Government’s recent Clean Growth Strategy contained a commitment to develop a package of measures to support businesses to improve their energy efficiency, with the aim of improving energy efficiency in the sector by at least 20% by 2030. BEIS plan to consult on this later in the year, and they have asked us to host a workshop of UKGBC members to feed into their policy development work ahead of that consultation.

This will be an important opportunity to influence the development of Government policy at a key juncture. BEIS officials will be in attendance throughout the afternoon.
