This is a unique opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions on the circularity of steel covering many challenges we currently face as an industry in creating a circular economy. This in-person event will equip participants with the knowledge of how the steel industry is adapting and the opportunity to share ideas to unlock even greater steel reuse and network with like-minded industry professionals.

Steel is one of the more developed circular materials, but there are still many obstacles to overcome which, once achieved, could be replicated for other materials. With the number of topics associated with reusing steel ever-growing, this half-day conference is compiled of several sessions exploring a range of important areas including surveys and deconstruction, procurement and risk, market availability, design and low carbon steel.

Why attend?

  • Participants will learn about the steel circularity journey so far and gain an understanding of the current challenges and possible solutions to the problems widely associated with material reuse, especially steel
  • Look ahead to what is possible for the industry
  • Leave with ideas, tools and contacts that will change the way you see steel
  • Connect with a network of like-minded professionals working on projects to generate circular steel

Who should attend?

This event is designed for industry professionals who work in steel or related areas regarding second-hand markets, testing, procurement, insurance/warranty, and design.
