All UKGBC Gold Leaf members are invited to a tree planting day with the Woodland Trust on Friday 24th November.

Central to our collective vision is a built environment that embraces and restores nature and promoted biodiversity, and restoring the tree cover across the UK is essential to this.  So we are delighted to be able to offer this unique opportunity to network with UKGBC staff and other Gold Leaf members while connecting with nature.  We will be helping Woodland Trust to create England’s largest new native woodland, Heartwood Forest, near St Albans.  It will be a hands on day where we will be using spades and planting sapling trees.

GVA, a UKGBC Gold Leaf member, is kindly covering the costs of this event, and a coach will be departing from the GVA London City office at 8:30am and will return by 5pm. If you would prefer to meet at the site, please be there by 10am. We will finish work on-site around 3pm. We highly encourage car sharing or taking the coach to limit carbon emissions.

There are 75 spaces available so please feel free to sign up with a group of colleagues. Places are on a first come first served basis. Please register for the tree planting here.
