Net Zero Commitment Forum
Please note, this is an invite-only event for UKGBC members that are signatories to WorldGBC’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment (the Commitment).
All signatories to the Commitment bring a unique set of skills and expertise to the net zero agenda – from building developers and designers to owners and operators – and are bound together by their commitment to help deliver a net zero carbon built environment. The Commitment Forum is intended to catalyse the group’s potential to drive faster action and further ambition, together.
The forum will provide a platform for signatories to develop the solutions required to accelerate the transition to a net zero carbon built environment. This group could also play a role in demonstrating industry leadership as part of UKGBC’s COP26 plans.
The forum is founded on these broad principles:
- Solutions focused: the forum should actively create, promote and share solutions to delivering net zero carbon buildings at scale.
- Peer-to-peer learning: the forum should encourage the sharing of strategies to help deliver net zero, including organisational net zero commitments.
- Advocate: the forum should use its collective strength to demonstrate leadership on net zero in the construction and property sector, including in the lead up to COP26.
