Net Zero Commitment Forum
Please note, this is an invite-only event for UKGBC members that are signatories to WorldGBC’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment (the Commitment).
All signatories to the Commitment bring a unique set of skills and expertise to the net zero agenda – from building developers and designers to owners and operators – and are bound together by their commitment to help deliver a net zero carbon built environment. The Commitment Forum is intended to catalyse the group’s potential to drive faster action and further ambition, together.
The Commitment Forum will provide a platform for signatories to develop the solutions required to accelerate the transition to a net zero carbon built environment. The group could also play a role in demonstrating industry leadership as part of UKGBC’s COP26 plans. This will be the first of a series of forum meetings held on a quarterly basis.
The Commitment Forum will:
- Provide a collaborative meeting space for stakeholders from across the entire building value chain to think laterally about industry-wide solutions.
- Focus on real-world barriers signatories are facing in their delivery of net zero buildings.
- Provide a flexible workshopping environment to identify and develop potential solutions.
- Support signatories with their own net zero strategies through knowledge sharing.
