Climate resilience actor and resource map
Technological advancements of the modern world have given individuals immense access to knowledge. However, with this access and ability to share comes the noise of billions of voices. This digital fog of information can make it difficult to fully understand and navigate the landscape of a topic. A consequence of this is that organisations are often at their own expense unnecessarily repeating the work of their peers and competitors.
For the built environment to stand the best chance of adapting to climate change, we must collectively act to share information and work together to create the change required. UKGBC’s mission is to work together for a better built environment. Our web-based actor and resource map of initiatives within the built environment around climate resilience, which can be viewed below, has been created with this spirit of collaboration in mind. The purpose of which is to allow organisations to find appropriate initiatives to becoming climate resilient without repeating the work of others.
Get involved: We are searching the built environment for initiatives on climate resilience to add to our actor and resource map. If you have worked on, or know of, any initiatives, then please share by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
